Good Canine Academy

Good Canine Academy is a non profit organization that specializes in the training of support dogs for veterans and first responders that are suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Good Canine Academy is also one of the first facilities in the USA to be certified to train canines to sniff out cancer. We are in the process of building a new training facility that will be utilized for training local canine units and other specialty trainings.

Good Canine Academy is Nationally Certified to train dogs to become highly skilled Bio-Dogs and work with Hospitals, Universities, Doctors, Scientists and Researchers in the science of bio-detection, using, urine, plasma, blood, sputum and breath.  #SniffThis

PTSD Support Dogs

The Good Canine Academy trains support dogs for veterans and first responders that suffer from PTSD.   Our mission is to help these men and women regain their lives through the healing power of dogs. #TogetherWeHeel

Safety Dogs

Good Canine Academy has joined forces with ISD’s in the State of Texas to keep our children safe by conducting preventative random sweeps in search of guns and ammunition in our schools by using their highly trained detection dogs.
Good Canine Academy is happy to work with the school districts in the State of Texas and train Comfort Dogs to be a part of their every day curriculum to comfort and help children in need.

Linda Konrad received her training through the InSitu Foundation which has been scientifically training dogs to detect early stage cancer in humans for over 16 years.
